In this tutorial we’ll see what kind of documents (books, magazines,e-book and e-journal,web sites, etc.) can be used to find information needed to deepen a topic.

We’ll also see how to understand which can be more useful for our specific case and how to recognize them pratically.

This is the phase where we already defined the topic we ‘re interested in and we want to know what has been written on it.

It answer the questions:

  • what kind of documents have the information I need?
  • What I need to use to discover what documents are there for the topic?
  • How I need to set my query to have good responses from a catalogue, database or a search engine?

You can look through the tutorial as if it were a book, reading page after page using the arrows at the bottom of the page, or skipping from one chapter to another through its menu.
